Who we are?

The Media Design programme in Sapir College trains students to become Product Designers. Mastering a wide range of skills, from building the right user experience to creating complex design systems and digital products. In addition to that, the students learn how to create digital products with a business perception giving a full solution for a company’s needs.

What interns are doing during the program

UX/UI Design

creating user research, user flows, wireframes, product architecture and building design systems for digital applications across web & mobile platforms.

Product Demo

Building a prototype that presents a full product demo including screens behaviour and micro animations.

Pitch Deck Design

Defining storytelling and visual representation of the company’s presentations and creating marketing content for the company.

Building a Website

Design and setup of a corporate website based on wordpress or wix platform.

Branding

Forming a brand identity which includes - logo, color palette, typography and more.

Video editing

Editing explanatory videos for company products.

40 monthly paid hours +
60 monthly hours of internship

Total of 550 hours as interns, with an additional 40 monthly hours (commitment).
Duration period of internship – 6 months (March- September).

Our Success Story

In the past couple of years, companies and projects have decided to employ our students as full-time employees by the end of the internship period.

Their story

During Gabriella Yakovlev internship program she dealt with design and facelifting for our SaaS platform. Gabi was dealing with b2b challenges creating a design system for a complex platform with enormous amounts of data. Her mission was to create the right user experience for our users and multiple stakeholders.

We are pleased by Gabi’s work and our decision to recruit her in our company. In this stage I no longer need to guide her anymore as she became an expert in her field working exactly by our methodology. We have decided to recruit Gabi in a full time position and wish her good luck.

Eyal Zack (the intern) has given us product solutions that we didn’t expect. His company contribution was phenomenal. The maturity in his age and the ability to identify what’s important and what’s not, I would never guess that this is his age and experience. Eyal was able to take advantage of this opportunity and helped us to improve product processes, decisions and understand what our users really need.

During the Eyal internship, we did a facelift for our main product in a European country. His ideas and solutions created a profound influence on our business - our conversion and engagement rate has risen..

בעקבות נגיף הקורונה, ולמידה ממושכת באופן מקוו באמצעות תוכנת זום, החלטנו להמשיך לקיים שיעורים מרחוק פעם בשבוע. הדגש הינו על קורסים טכניים אשר דורשים ריכוז ותרגול מבלי הסחות דעת. ביום בו אתם לומדים מהבית חשוב לשמור על סדר יום ולהקדיש פינה ללמידה, כך זה נראה.

Our alumni are employed by leading companies in the industry: Wix, Mobileye, Keshet, Yad2 and startups in different stages. Top students of the class are selected in the second year for a 6 months internship program. During the internship they are working as UX/UI Product Designers fulfilling a variety of tasks.
